Thanks for the updates Ed. this is really great information. It helps other hospitals admins see how other hospitals are using these new tools. Any chance you are updating the Excel spreadsheet too? Only saw the one from May. I am looking to analyze your data a little more. Any graphs I make from your data will give credit to the source and feel free to post here as well.

Christian – nice to hear that the list is helpful. I just updated the post with a link to the current Excel file. It’s not a full snapshot, which includes stats taken on a single day, but it does have all of the current listings. I’m always interested in new ways to analyze this data and look forward to what you develop. Please call me if you have any questions.

As always, this is a fantastic list and you make my job easier! One important element in all of this is frequency of updating and how active community participation is as well. I swear that I remember you talking about this somewhere and can’t find it though and am not sure you are tracking that per se. Maybe you mentioned it in Twitter?

Appreciate the insight. I am currently evaluating the marketing and communications tools being utilized by White Memorial Medical Center located outside of Downtown Los Angeles. The facility is one of 18 hospitals affiliated with Adventist Health and is the only hospital in Los Angeles with an accredited cardiac rehabilitation program. The hospital’s social media presence currently includes Facebook and You Tube.
