@ed… Is there a list for Payers using Social Media

I’m not aware of one – but it’s a good idea.

Hi Ed,

Thanks so much for the updated stats. Will you be publishing an updated chart/graph with these figures?

Thanks for checking in. I’m working on a very large update now, with several
hundred new hospital listings. I’ll update the charts at that time.

Thanks for the list, Ed. On your next chart, you can add that Methodist Rehab in Jackson, MS also has a Twitter account @MethodistRehab (already active) and a YouTube Channel (should be up this week.)

Hi @edbennett:disqus , thanks for the great list.  Can you elaborate on your methodology for assembling this list — e.g., do you monitor whether the accounts are actively used?  Thanks! – Marcio

question: we supply healthcare it solutions to 1500 medical imaging departments and med records dept in the US. we want to engage our customers better (not email!) but they are depts directors/mgrs.

We arent sure if they use FB and Twitter in the work environment. If we create an FB  business group,  for our customers, so they can pose questions, get periodic discounts/coupons, new product releases, how to’s, FAQs  info on equipment we installed in their facilities, etc, will they sign up?

Hi Ed.  Do you know of or have any stats on medical insurance companies social media usage (specifically physicians or clinical liability insurance companies)?

This is a great resource! I wonder if you will update it to include Google Plus.

No Canada? I’m an American living / working in Vancouver (BC) and currently running a social media campaign within the Lower Mainland Health Care Authorities. I would love to see what others (including the States AND Canada) are doing. Please include Canada in your research. Then expand to the EU and Australia.

Hi Ed,
Would love to use some of your data in a presentation. Is that okay with you and how do you like to be cited? Thanks!

Hi Ed,
Do you have any data that breaks down the usage of the Social Networking Sites specifically for recruitment?

Stuart Wainstock June 1, 2012 at 12:42 pm

Great post Ed!  It’s wonderful to see many campuses involved in SM, yet still amazes me how many are not connected.  How is the update coming along?

Daniel Mcfarland June 13, 2012 at 10:42 am

Thank you for this list, it is a great resource.

Will this list be updated any time in the near future?

Shivam Parikh August 24, 2012 at 7:18 am

Any plans to cover international hospitals too?

GARY LEVIN September 7, 2012 at 8:24 am

Sorry to see this go. Any takers?

Vicky September 13, 2012 at 10:46 am

Does the old website will be  closed? Could I reused the old website? I think the old one is much better.

I currently sell a new product that is ideal for hospitals but since I am from a commercial real estate background I am not certain who and how to best approach at each location. IT? Marketing? CEO? Basically we are a customized medical facility television station.
Any suggestions?
