[...] From Ed Bennett’s June data set I have compiled the Twitter account names of each of the hospitals on Twitter. From this list you can use a tool like ninjafollow.com to automatically follow all these hospitals if you were interested in seeing how different hospitals make use of Twitter. (note the separation by groups of 100 since that is the limit for mass following on Twitter.) If you get overwhelmed by all the information coming in from following 200+ new accounts, you can also use ninjafollow.com to unfollow these same accounts.
Appreciate the insight Ed. I am currently evaluating the marketing and communications tools being utilized by White Memorial Medical Center located outside of Downtown Los Angeles. The facility is one of 18 hospitals affiliated with Adventist Health and is the only hospital in Los Angeles with an accredited cardiac rehabilitation program. The hospital's social media presence currently includes Facebook and You Tube.

Hi Ed,

As always, this is a fantastic list and you make my job easier! One important element in all of this is frequency of updating and how active community participation is as well. I swear that I remember you talking about this somewhere and can't find it though and am not sure you are tracking that per se. Maybe you mentioned it in Twitter?

thank you!
